“PLUM TART”PREPARATION”:Dough:
Please add all the “Ingredients” inside of a deep dish bowl ( except the plums and the decoration ingredients) and using the mixer, blend all the ingredients well until it reaches a sandy texture. After mixing please use only half of the dough for this recipe and freeze the rest inside a Ziploc ( or a plastic bag safe for freezing)to use it for next time!
We need to prepare our tart dough as thin as possible to our tart form!
Fruit:
Wash the plums and slice them first to half. After removing the pits, place the half plum on its side on a cutting board and cut it crosswide into equal slices.
Tart Form:
Butter a 9 1/2 inch Tart Form and place the dough by sprinkling all around the form equally. After placing the dough press with you hand to create a firm dough and to give the shape of our tart form perfectly. After this is done we can place the fruits, starting from the outer edge create a feather shape non stop until you reach the center.
Baking:
Sprinkle the prepared fruit tart with powder sugar just to cover it slightly and bake in 350F for 30min.
Serving:
Sprinkle with powder sugar after the tart has cooled and serve with heavy whipped cream
Bon Appetit!
